When it comes to choosing the right brand for your kitchen knife and cutlery needs, you can narrow your search down to two brand names. One such world famous and international brand is the Henckels. They are one of the oldest manufacturers of the kitchen knives and cookware and scissors.
If you are looking for a comfortable and better handled knives, then you should be looking at Henckels. They are still using the riveted type handles which is of slightly old style. Although they have a very curved handles with a pretty straight blade making it easy to hold and handle. While the Wusthof has a more rubbery handle with modern looks, sometimes it would be slippery too and hence the chances of getting cut are high.
The blades of the Wusthof would be slightly round shaped and while the Henckels has a sharper point and hence giving a sense of giving you a better slice that others.
While buying cutlery one important thing you should remember is the steel in which they are made. Either they should be made up of high-strength carbon steel or the latest stainless steel.
