30 Jun 09 Prescription Sunglasses Problems
I have quite a lot of trouble with glasses. I have needed prescription glasses since I was a young child and have always had trouble with sunglasses. I have always liked the idea of wearing them, but when I was younger, I couldn’t afford to buy a pair. As I got older I was working and more able to afford them and eventually I did buy a pair. My first challenge was finding some eyeglass frames which worked with dark lenses. There was not a lot of choice in my price range and I am not sure whether what I chose really worked. What I really wanted was the look that you could get with designer sunglasses but I certainly got nowhere near that. I also found it hard having to change glasses when I went in and out of the sun. It is fine if you can wear them on your head but with my thick and curly hair, they would get stuck, which was certainly not a good look! After that pair I just gave up with sunglasses. I am aware that I should really be doing everything that I can to protect my eyes form the damaging sun`s rays but I have not found a good solution.
