Any learning that takes place using electronic technology is termed as e learning. It is mostly used for training purposes in organizations. Advancement of technology has seen an extraordinary rise in e learning UK. For an individual, e- learning is the most convenient and cost effective way to learn new IT skills.
E-learning can be computer based or web based. The user only requires a computer or a laptop and can start the training program. The student or the learner can decide on the venue and time of his training. There is no dearth of topics that are available through computer training UK today. Be it IT certification courses, like MCSE, CCNA, CCMP, MCSA; or learning to work on new Microsoft versions, there are CBT (computer based training) courses in many topics. It is a very convenient mode to study for students as well as working professionals as they do not need to travel anywhere. The courses are delivered in a number of formats like CDs, DVDs. As opposed to a traditional classroom style learning which is sometimes stressful for such students who take more time to retain materials, CBT offers another advantage. The training courses are self study, self paced, which allows the student to take his own time to complete the course.
