Here in Colorado, many of us rejoice when winter finally decides to come back to us. Many of us run for the mountains whenever we see the first signs of snow. If you live here in Colorado, why not take advantage of the fantastic skiing and snowboarding options this state has to offer. We also love to send snowman Christmas ornaments to our relatives that don?t get snow just to rub it in their faces. But this year?s winter might have some nasty sides as well. Every year we get car accidents and power outages during these winter months so it is better to be prepared for the hazards of winter.
Many of us forget to change our tires when it starts to snow and we get caught in snowstorms that endanger our families. Snow tires can save lives so do not hesitate to get them before the first snow. We also forget that snow can knock out power lines. Make sure you have candles and flashlights in the house and some dried food in the pantry. So before you crack open that snowman ornaments kit, be sure you are prepared for what winter brings here in this state or else you might be in more danger than you think.
