I have been looking for some nice poems on line and have found a site that does personalized name poems. These are fantastic as you can write it in card and it will be perfectly suited to the person that you are giving it to. I love poetry but am no good at writing it myself and so this is a good way of being able to give them something special. I tried it once before when I wanted to say thank you to a really special teacher that my children had at school. I got a selection of teacher appreciation poems and got them to write one out and draw around it and I think that she really appreciated the effort that we had all been to. It certainly made me think about doing it for more people and so I am going to see whether others like having poems, maybe in birthday cards and decide whether to keep going with the idea. I am sure that a few people will not be so, keen as others but it is nice to be able to give it a go and find out who likes it. Those that comment and say that they like the idea may get more poems and those that say nothing, may not get one again.
